Nothing much going on here. I have an appointment to get the house inspected today, so I'm low on blogging time. Instead, enjoy these. The first one made me laugh uproariously because nothing is funnier than conservative Christians trying to write "hip" dialogue for the condemned non-Christian. It's pretty obvious they have no idea how to emphathize with these characters spouting: "That is off the chain!!!" Anyway, the second one is a comparison of Harry Potter and Left Behind. Interesting points, even if the treatment is a bit shallow. Enjoy!

"Well, I for one am sick of this anti-sorcery bias, and I'm fed up with the over-commercialization of Halloween. I'm tired of clerks wishing me a "happy alternative seasonal event" and people hiding in churches Halloween night or passing out religious tracts instead of chocolate and lots of it.
This country was founded on the principle of knocking on your neighbor's door demanding to be fed, and if these people don't like it they should move to Russia. And another thing, I couldn't find the Halloween stamp at the post office without going there. This is reverse sacrilege! Let's remember that First Halloween, when, despite their own meager provender, the Pilgrims gladly passed out yams and berries and smallpox to the mostly-naked pagans despite having been forced to share their land. Halloween bashing must stop! "
